Torin Andersen is an artist working on building a culture in the experimental arts. Torin enjoys a discography of more than 40 musical releases, over 20 visual art exhibitions, more than 10 sonic exhibitions, 100s of hours of recorded conversations with creatives in the community and 1000's of performances with various bands starting in 1995. Torin has been lead audio engineer for more than 30 musical performances for video release and teaches audio production at Shocker Studios. Arts feature reporter at KMUW is Torin's full time job, alongside audio engineering work and state public media archive work for the Library of Congress project. Torin's current painting exhibition, "unwoundup", will be up at Mark Arts May 30-July 16.
