Launching this November 27th, Somewhere in Winter transforms downtown Wichita into a wonderland of connection and creativity. Glide beneath the Kansas sky on our outdoor ice rink, explore immersive light installations, shop the local artisan market, and enjoy performances, food, and music that reflect Wichita’s creative heart.

This new seasonal experience marks the next chapter in Movement Musick’s growing portfolio of creative, community-driven events that celebrate Wichita’s culture and potential.

Following the second annual Somewhere Festival & Conference in June 2025 – which drew over 15,000 attendees from 31 states and 6 countries, and featured performances by Deadmau5, Flying Lotus, Suki Waterhouse, and Aloe Blacc with 2ŁØT, alongside 51 conference speakers and 100+ artists – Somewhere in Winter continues the mission of building authentic connection through art, music, and shared experience.

Movement Musick also announced that the 2026 edition of Somewhere Festival & Conference will take place on September 25–26, 2026, once again bringing music lovers, artists, and changemakers to Downtown Wichita for a weekend of performances, connections, and forward-thinking conversations.
