After more than a decade of producing a wide range of events, Jessica Tomasin launched Connect Beyond—a multi-genre arts and ideas festival designed to spark meaningful change through music, film, literature, and dialogue. The event brings together songwriters, filmmakers, authors, activists, journalists, and academics from around the world for intellectually engaging panels, workshops, screenings, and live performances—all with a shared mission of fostering a more socially just and connected world.In addition to leading Connect Beyond, Jessica has served as studio manager at Echo Mountain Recording for the past 19 years, helping shape it into a world-renowned recording destination with top-tier digital and analog capabilities, an impressive gear collection, and a broad range of notable credits.She is also the Co-Founder of Asheville Music Professionals, a nonprofit dedicated to education, advocacy, and collaboration within the Western North Carolina music scene. In 2014, she launched Jet Up Productions, a boutique production company that consults and produces events for clients across sectors.Through all of her work, Jessica remains deeply committed to empowering others with the tools, resources, and platforms they need to help create the kind of world they want to live in.
